serendipity do

That's the punchline to a very bad joke about unexpectedly finding hair gel just when it was needed (groan), but this picture (that's me in the centre), taken at Hallowe'en this year, is all about serendipity:

1. Finding the wedding dress at Tailize (a Canadian chain similar to Value Village) - they had an entire wedding dress section, be still my heart - for all of $29
2. Running into matching bridesmaids while wandering the crowd on Church Street, which is Hallowe'en Central!
3. Finding this picture on Xtra's website. Many thanks to Nicola Betts.
