If one was, you know, theoretically, going to frog back and reknit the top half of the sleeves of a sweater to narrow them a bit, make them a bit longer, and add shoulder shaping (oh, there is just so much wrong here...), can one just frog, winding the yarn by hand into a ball, and then reknit using the frogged yarn, or will the tension and gauge be all weird with the frogged yarn?
