Durrow .751

Back to the frog pond.

I don't know why I keep on knitting while I'm thinking. It seems to be a Durrow theme for me. I cast on the first sleeve too loosely, kept thinking about how I wasn't really very happy with how it looked while I knit away on it all the way to the Opening Ceremonies, and then decided that I really couldn't live with it and ripped it all out.

Enter sleeve the second.

I was laughing the other day at the common pattern heading: "Sleeve (work two)". I mean, it's not going to go very well for you if you don't knit two sleeves, generally speaking. So I was merrily following this instruction while the thought slowly started percolating in the back of my head, "you mean you're not going to reverse the cables on the second sleeve?" It was, of course, another few rows before I decided that really it was what I wanted what I needed the right thing the only possible thing to do. Besides, I read pattern charts backwards by mistake all the time. How hard can it be to do it on purpose?

Rippit, rippit.
