Not American?

From the latest Dilbert Newsletter:

If you are not a citizen of the United States, you can still vote in the election by using an absentee ballot. I'm pretty sure no one checks to see if they're real.

Okay, it's probably illegal and all, but does anyone know where I can get an absentee ballot?

My name is Ken and I'm an addict

Okay, I admit it. I'm an addict. Say hello to the latest addition to the family:

iPod G4

It's a 40GB fourth-generation iPod.

I was going to wait, I really was. I had negotiated with myself that I was going to pay off half of my debt-load before buying one. Plus, I was only going to buy the 20GB model. I'm not greedy, after all. Then it happened.

I was in Best Buy, making a perfectly innocent and altruistic purchase of a spindle of blank CD-R's. For someone else. As a gift. For no reason. See how great I am? Then I passed the iPods, which are too pretty to pass without a glance, and maybe a peer in the cabinet to see what's in stock. Then I see it. The "open item" sticker on the side of an iPod box. Suddenly I'm reeling. Have you been to Best Buy? Do you know what an "open item" sticker means? No? I'll let you in on it then. 10% off is what an "open item" sticker means. Ten percent. Off a brand-new (okay, slightly used and returned), very-recently-released iPod. I couldn't help myself.

Now it's mine, all mine I tell you; mine and no one else's! Um, was that out loud?
