While still pretty poor in the chubby-bucks myself, I've certainly softened and spread (ew, sounds like margarine) somewhat since buying the car (and thereby ceasing cycling to/from work), to the point where I've actually outgrown a pair of pants. This has never before happened to me, and it's a little bit of a shock, I have to say. I always thought I wanted to be a little bit overweight to be more "normal". Not "cut me out of my trailer, Oprah" kind of enormous, just enough so that people would stop saying things like "whoah, are you ever skinny!" Well, I was wrong. They've stopped now, and I really want them to start again.
